Chapter 11 Reading Questions
11.1 Activities
1. Make sure you have read p. 284-286 of the Chapter 11 reading, and then do the following:
a. Go to Google Classroom and find the assignment titled "Food - Section 11.1 Objective Answers" and click on it. Create a new document from that assignment, and click on it to open it.
b. In the document, answer all of the 11.1 objectives in YOUR OWN WORDS. Let Mrs. E know when you're finished.
2. Read this article titled, "Could Food Shortages Bring Down Civilization?" and do the following:
a. In a Google Doc, answer the question that the title of the article poses. BACK UP YOUR IDEAS WITH SPECIFIC EVIDENCE FROM THE ARTICLE. IT SHOULD BE MORE THAN A FEW SENTENCES OR ONE PARAGRAPH LONG.
b. In the same document in a separate paragraph, evaluate the "Plan B" outlined at the end of the article. What does "Plan B" entail? Why is it necessary? What specific additions would you recommend for the plan to be successful on a global scale?

You should know by now how to design a controlled experiment; please design one and carry it out. There is an assignment in Google Classroom called "Salinization Lab;" use the form attached to that assignment to write up your lab. It will be due on February 27th in Google Classroom - NO EXCEPTIONS.
**If you need a grow light or heat sinks, please let me know - I have some.
